Interlibrary Loan
Interlibrary Loan (ILL) is a service which helps eligible patrons obtain materials that are unavailable in the Tulane Libraries. Howard-Tilton Memorial Library offers ILL service for free to members of the Uptown Tulane Campus. To use ILL, just login to the ILL service.
Students and faculty in the law, business, and medical schools have their own ILL services in their respective libraries. Interlibrary loan requests are placed electronically through the ILLiad system, accessible through the main library web page. Patrons are contacted via email when items are ready to be picked up, and they may do so at the Circulation Desk at any time that the library is open.
The ILL office is located on the second floor of the library, just inside the entrance to the stacks, and to the right.
