Responsibilities
The Systems Dept is responsible for the Integrated library system, trouble-shooting system problems, system analysis, upgrades, integration of locally developed and third party applications, and creation of custom SQL reports. The Systems Dept also provides technical support of library staff desktop computing and office automation, including hardware, software and networking configuration; evaluates the current use of these resources; and is responsible for planning, purchasing, and implementing upgrades. The dept collaborates with other library staff and University IT staff to improve services via technology.
