Food & Drink Policy

Food is permitted in the Library only on the basement level in and around the snack lounge and in the lounge area opposite the PJ's Coffee shop.

(If you must carry food with you -- food that you intend to consume somewhere other than the Library -- please keep it in your backpack or other closed bag while you are in the Library.)

Drinks should only be in covered cups, spill-proof mugs, or similar containers. No canned beverages or open cups are allowed.

Library staff will have final approval over any sort of beverage container allowed in the library and reserve the right to exclude any container for any reason.


How You Can Preserve Library Resources

Food and food residues, such as oil and sugar, attract rodents or insects and may destroy or damage computer equipment, disks, books, equipment, and furnishings. If you observe a spill, please notify a staff member right away. Thank you for helping to preserve your resources.
