SciFinder Scholar

Accessing SciFinder Scholar Web Edition (PC or Mac) is a two-step process.

 

Step 1: Create Personal Account

 

Before using the web edition, you must create an individual account using a Tulane.edu email address. You will receive an email confirming your user name and password, at which time you will have access to the database from your web browser.

New features:

  • Off-campus access when logged into the campus network.
  • Keep Me Posted Alerts - set SciFinder to automatically run a search when the database is updated every week, and email the results to you.

Step 2: Access SciFinder Scholar

 

 

NOTE: Users must agree to abide by the terms of service as described in the registration process. Users are prohibited from sharing their login credentials with anyone. Users are responsible for all activity on their account. Unauthorized sharing of passwords or excessive downloads may lead to suspension of Tulane's account or cancellation of your personal account.

 

NOTE: If you have difficulty accessing the database, try again at an off-peak time such as early in the morning or during the evening.
