Responsibilities
The Head of the Southeastern Architectural Archive (SEAA) is responsible for managing the SEAA, coordinating and supervising the processing of its collections, cultivating donor support, and promoting the SEAA through exhibitions, public engagements and instruction programming. Additionally, the department head manages the Tulane School of Architecture Library and serves as chief bibliographer for architecture and historic preservation publications.

Professional Activity

Ms. Rylance has written essays for Archivaria, ARLIS/NA Reviews, Public Art Review, Tampa Bay History, The Dictionary of Artists' Models, The Encyclopedia of Gardens: History and Design, The Encyclopedia of Twentieth-Century Architecture, and Utopian Studies.  

She has presented papers at the International Congress of the History of Art (Amsterdam), and at annual meetings of the College Art Association (Toronto), the Media Ecology Association (Boston), the Renaissance Society of America (Miami), and the Society for the History of Authorship, Reading and Publishing (Helsinki).

Professional Interests
Keli Rylance is particularly interested in the history of books and printing.
She is currently working on a collaborative project to write a critical edition of a late seventeenth-century Spanish printer's manual with Dr. Pablo Alvarez, Outreach Librarian/Curator of Special Collections, the University of Michigan.
