As Director of Learning, Development, and Equity for Tulane Libraries, Shakoor Ward provides consultation to library leadership and library committees. He creates, implements, assesses, and updates performance enhancement training programs for Tulane library employees based on need analyses.
Dr. Ward creates, develops, and implements learning engagements for the Tulane Community and helps to improve overall organizational development through an equity lens. Shakoor also represents Tulane University Libraries as an elected member of Tulane's Staff Advisory Council (SAC).
Shakoor holds a Ph.D. in Workforce Education in Development with a focus in Leadership from The Pennsylvania State University; MSEd in Curriculum and Instruction from Purdue University; and BBA in Operations Management from University of Cincinnati.
