Experience the Berlin Philharmonic

Howard-Tilton Memorial Library is delighted to provide access to the Berliner Philharmoniker Digital Concert Hall to all Tulane students, staff, and faculty. With the library’s subscription to this resource, members of the Tulane community may now use their computer, tablet, or smartphone to stream live and archived concerts by one of the world’s foremost orchestras and cultural icons, the Berlin Philharmonic.
The archive already contains hundreds of recordings and continues to grow each year. Watch performances with exemplary conductors at the helm, including luminaries such as Claudio Abbado, Herbert von Karajan, Pierre Boulez, Valery Gergiev, and many more. The database also includes several documentaries, including Maestros in Democracy, Cathedrals of Culture, Rhythm is It, and more. Users can also watch interviews with major figures of the stage.
First time users must access this resource from on campus and create a personal account in the Digital Concert Hall. Once you’ve completed a very simple online form, you will have full access to the resource from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. You can also download the free app to enjoy performances from your tablet or smartphone.
