Katherine graduated from Pratt Institute in New York with an MS in Library Science and an MA in History of Art and Design. Her master's thesis explored taxonomies for video game visual style, exploring the history of animation and illustration as well as the different technologies used to create and render graphics. She previously worked in Pratt's special collections department acquiring, cataloging, and maintaining films, artists books, and zines. She also holds a BA in History with a concentration in Public History from Hood College in Frederick, MD. In her spare time, she likes to talk about Star Wars and read fantasy novels.
