Open House: The Matas Library (Downtown campus)
The Matas Library of the Health Sciences, located Downtown on the 2nd floor of the Hutchinson Building (1430 Tulane Avenue), will hold an open house for faculty, staff, and students on Tuesday, September 6 from 10:00 AM – Noon. This event is a great opportunity to meet our library staff, become familiarized with our suite of information services and resources, and bring ideas to help the Matas Library grow and innovate now and into the future.
All faculty, staff, and students on the Downtown Health Sciences Campus are invited to attend. Food and beverages will be served.
The Matas Library of the Health Sciences is the primary resource library for the Tulane University Health Sciences Campus comprising the School of Medicine, the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, and the Tulane National Primate Research Center. Our Commons and Quiet Study Areas have been recently renovated to offer more comfortable study and collaborative spaces, and our team of highly-trained information professionals are ready to assist the Downtown Campus with training workshops and course-specific instruction, as well as personalized research and publication support.
We at the Matas Library are always here to serve the Tulane Health Sciences Community. We partner with students, researchers, staff, faculty, and instructors to support success and innovation in education, training, and research. We look forward to having you join us on Tuesday, September 6 to learn more about everything the Matas Library has to offer. Save the date!
