New Exhibit: Conflict and Coexistence in Jerusalem
Tulane students in the Stacy Mandel Palagye and Keith Palagye Program for Middle East Peace spent five weeks this past summer studying the dynamics of the Arab-Israeli conflict through classroom study and hands-on experience in Jerusalem. They pursued individual research interests probing into specific aspects of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, e.g., women’s roles in peacebuilding organizations, health policies in East Jerusalem, technology as a means to oppress or to unite, and many more.
In this exhibit the students present their projects , giving a multi-faceted view of the current state of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and how people on the ground in Jerusalem live with it.
