Tulane University Digital Collections
A selection of digitized holdings from Tulane University Special Collections is available via Tulane University Digital Collections in the Tulane University Digital Library and Tulane Inside and Out. Highlights include:
- Carnival Collection, featuring more than 5,500 original float and costume designs
- Hogan Archive Photography Collection, containing approximately 6,000 images documenting people, places, and events important to the study of New Orleans music
- Jambalaya and T-Wave Yearbooks, dating back to 1896
- John Kennedy Toole Papers, consisting of the personal and literary papers of the New Orleans novelist
- Louisiana Sheet Music, sheet music published in, or with topical relevance to, Louisiana (with an emphasis on New Orleans)
- Louisiana Menu and Restaurant Collection, documenting Louisiana's food and cooking culture
- Ralston Crawford Collection of New Orleans Jazz Photographs, including over 800 photographs, dating from 1947 to 1960, that document performances, locations, and people related to New Orleans
- Sanborn Fire Insurance Maps (vol. I & II, New Orleans, 1876), representing the earliest and only known copies of forty fire insurance maps for this locality and era
- Tulane University Archives Historic Audiovisual Collection, including audio, visual, and printed materials that offer a glimpse into the history of Tulane University
