Sean Knowlton

Sean oversees the Libraries’ digital initiatives and information technology operations to include the library management system (Alma), unified discovery platform (Primo), digital library platform (Alma Digital), digital preservation platform (LibSafe), exhibits software (WordPress), peer reviewed journal publishing (OJS) and the library’s web site (Drupal CMS). As a member of the library’s Leadership Team, he develops strategies and plans for supporting existing and new digital services in close collaboration with peers in Special Collections, Technical Services, Scholarly Engagement and coordinate libraries (The Latin American Library and Matas Library of the Health Sciences). He actively seeks opportunities to integrate sustainable technology into library and academic support services and collaborates closely with Tulane University’s campus Information Technology group to ensure service deliveries to faculty and students.
