AppsAnywhere is Tulane's software delivery and virtualization solution designed for students and faculty, enabling Tulane to deliver any app to any device, on and off campus.
AppsAnywhere is a one-stop web application– accessible on any device, anywhere– that gives students access to all of Tulane's software available to them. Due to COVID-19, most of the campus computer labs are decommissioned or have limited capacity. This software solution will allow students to log in to one place to access the applications they need to contribute to their academic success.

Borrowing books and media equipment
General collection items such as books and physical media can be borrowed at the main Howard-Tilton Memorial Library, the Rudolph Matas Library of the Health Sciences, and the Math Library.

- An Alumni Card is needed for any former Tulane student to have borrowing privileges and these are obtained from the Tulane Alumni Office.
- A TU/LU Card is for Loyola undergraduates to borrow from Howard-Tilton.
- A CALL Card is for faculty and graduate students from New Orleans universities to borrow from Howard-Tilton.
- A LALINC Card is for faculty and graduate students from Louisiana universities to borrow from Howard-Tilton.

Self-checkout is now available
Library users at Howard-Tilton Memorial Library may now check out their own materials using a contactless Self-Checkout kiosk, or from their phones using an app called meeScan. The Self-Checkout kiosk is located on the library's first floor, beside the Check Out Desk. Directions on how to use the app and kiosk are below. For directions on how to use the app and kiosk go to Self-Checkout | TU Libraries (tulane.edu)
Remote Access to Library Resources
Current Tulane students, faculty, and staff may access Tulane Libraries' licensed online resources remotely from off campus through a system called authentication. The libraries use a system for authentication called OpenAthens.
When a user is outside the campus network and connects through the library website to library resources such as articles, eBooks, online journals, research databases, and licensed digital collections, they are automatically directly to a login screen seen below.
The login and password for remote access is the same as the user’s Tulane email ID and password. To avoid remote access problems it is important to connect to these licensed resources through the coded links on the library’s web pages rather than directly.
