Tulane University Libraries Expands Collection to Include Audiobooks

Tulane University Libraries is pleased to announce the addition of audiobooks to its collection, furthering its commitment to accessibility and providing new ways for students and faculty to engage with course materials.

The library is prioritizing the acquisition of:

  • Books in languages other than English

  • Works that are enhanced by audio, such as poetry, plays, and memoirs read by the author

  • Titles assigned for courses

The growing collection is available through OverDrive via the Libby app. Learn more about how to access them: https://libguides.tulane.edu/audiobooks

Students and faculty are encouraged to help expand the collection by submitting title requests through the library’s purchase request form. While funding is limited, the library welcomes suggestions to build a collection that meets the needs of the Tulane community.

Additionally, users can maximize their access by linking their New Orleans Public Library card for an even broader selection of audiobooks.
