Media Services

Mission

Media Services fosters equitable opportunities for interdisciplinary discovery, innovative scholarship, and skill development through creative play with multimedia collections and media tools.

Vision

With our library and campus partners, Media Services will be a site of innovation, creativity, and scholarly engagement for Tulane and the New Orleans community.

What We Do

Media Services does more than just provide access to a vast selection of multimedia materials. At Media Services, we foster creative research and communications by providing the tools, resources, and training for podcasting, audio editing, video essays, and basic video editing; we partner with students, faculty, and staff across the uptown and downtown campuses to ignite curiosity and delight with engaging film events; and we inspire and inform through annual marquee events, including Media Literacy Week programming in October and the Intentional Listening Series, a monthly springtime exploration of the built and natural sounding environment.

All workshops and events can be found on TUL’s Events Calendar
