Tulane University Special Collections closed out the academic year with a nostalgic and well-attended pop-up exhibit, “We Have That?: Let the Throwbacks Commence!” held on May 14 in Howard-Tilton Memorial Library. Drawing from the University Archives, the exhibit featured vintage commencement photographs, memorabilia, and other graduation-related materials that highlighted how Tulanians have celebrated commencement across generations.

The event welcomed 54 attendees, including current students, parents, and emeritus alumni, celebrating their 50th class anniversary. Visitors enjoyed revisiting Tulane traditions, past and present, while exploring the exhibit’s unique archival materials. Guests also took home vintage miniature prints of Gibson Hall and special event swag.

Organized by Tulane University Special Collections’ Research Services team and the University Archivist, the exhibit served as a celebratory close to the semester. It offered the Tulane community an opportunity to connect through shared memories and campus history.
